Helpringham History Weekend 2018

An Exhibition by the Helpringham History Society at the Memorial Hall on 31st March and 1st April 2018

This extra special exhibition enabled us to display our entire collection of photographs, documements and artefacts, all of which have been collected over a period of ten years. Separate areas were set up to cover different aspects of Helpringham's history including schooldays, trades, farming, entertainment, sport, religion, buildings, family history, early history, historical finds, news stories and memories.

There was a constant flow of visitors over the weekend, not just from Helpringham but also a large number from surrounding villages and some from further afield including two visitors from Scotland who called in on their way south. Several of our visitors were returning to Helpringham for the first time in many years and were able to meet up with old classmates and exchange memories.
